Character chat where your choices stick.
Pick a character, talk the way you would to anyone, and decide what happens when the scene asks. Built for people who already spend their evenings in web novels and role-play threads.
CONCEPT SCREEN · PLANNED EXPERIENCE, NOT A LIVE PRODUCT
CHAPTER 01 / THE UNOPENED DOORCONCEPT SCREEN · NOT A LIVE APP
You're not reading the scene. You're in it.
Web fiction never asks what you'd do, and character chats tend to drift after a few messages. We're building the thing in between: a character who talks back, a scene that moves when you choose, and a story that keeps track. Here's how we want it to play.
Pick someone
Each character arrives with a past, a way of talking, and something already on their mind.
Answer, or decide
Type whatever you'd say. At the moments that matter, the scene stops and asks what you'll do.
Live with it
What you said should still matter three scenes later. That's the hard part, and the part we're building toward.
Three things a character has to get right.
A face that reacts
When the conversation turns, their expression should turn with it. We're testing this in a separate desktop prototype before wiring it into chat.
A voice that holds
A sarcastic courier shouldn't sound like a gentle herbalist by message twenty. Our mobile prototype anchors each voice with a profile and sample dialogue.
A memory that counts
Today the prototype keeps track of the recent conversation. Remembering a choice from last week, and letting it bend the plot, comes next.
Two prototypes. No beta yet.
We have a mobile app for finding characters and chatting with them, and a separate desktop experiment where a character reacts on screen. They aren't connected yet, and nothing is open to the public.
We plan to charge a monthly subscription. Nothing is for sale today, and there's no waitlist to join.
Next, we plan to test Claude API against the problems above: holding a voice over long conversations, keeping track of context, and staying consistent after a story branches. Claude doesn't power the product today, and this is not an Anthropic partnership or endorsement.
